We're only approaching 4 years so I can't speak for 15-20+ year marriage folk. But we still do it just about every day, sometimes multiple times if we have time during our kid's nap or in the morning. Exceptions are if the crimson tide is in town or one of us is sick. Also if we're visiting her parents who live out of state

Funny story, last time we were there our kid woke up kinda early so I took him to the living room to let the wife sleep in a little, her dad was already up watching TV and he straight up offered to watch him if I wanted to go back to bed with her
Her dad's cool, she's the one that's weirded out by doing it at her parents house. I don't force the issue, usually by the time we get back home there's a lot of tension and we make up for lost time

Classy .I am just pointing out what many others have pointed out, that our feminist assumptions make men responsible for women’s behavior. I was joking about it being transactional... this whole thing is the chicken and egg scenario with few posters willing to put down defensiveness in an attempt to see other perspectives.
Can both sides not lay out their needs without assigning blame and rancor?

You’re right, we don’t. But you have a reason and you are noble to stand by your woman. Health issues and abuse of any kind are exceptions to sex obligations.
