it's about $5 million
The interior alone is 5M+.
Don't care for the outside, but the interior is incredible.

Is it finished yet?

Not sure if its orientation, but the alley is there.
It's above the garage.

Rut roh...bumped from years ago.

Nothing screams "new money" like building an obscenely large McMansion across from a public golf course.

That guy's house is probably worth more than you'll make your entire life.
ETA - son of a bitch, who bumped this thread.
You're still a bitch though lego.

The same Whittles as the kid from PBS? Blake?
The Whittles are loaded. Their daughter and daughter-in-law, Lauren and Lindsey, started that Cupcake Couture business.
Then for some reason, they suddenly sold it.
I can imagine that business probably was not that good, and they got tired of having responsibility. I doubt the business ever really turned a profit but they have so much money they didn't really need to make a profit anyway. Probably just woke up one day and said 'let's have a business' and used some fun money for it.

I hope he saved room for the quidditch field...that things looks like Hogwarths

The property tax on that is gonna suck.

Why do I love old bumped threads so much? Is it just me?

Nope...there must be 20 to25 pickups parked in front every day. It seems they have been building this thing for at least a couple of years now. My grandkids call it the Harry Potter house!

Bill Whittle used to teach American History at Tara in the late 70's. His class was something else.

They better keep it forever. There isn't much of a resale market of those type of homes in BR
Not when the no limit redux empire gets rolling.

Another large place in BR area is Danny Beard's just up the street. I was told it's 25,000 sq ft. The property is fabulous. But I'd bet he's got more worth in cars than the paltry $8-15 mil his place is worth (wild guess here)

Wooo hooo. Nothing screams being rich like being able to afford a cupcake business. LOL
Posted on 5/27/17 at 8:32 pm to NyCaLa
And there's a place near Lafayette with more $ in it than anything in BR. Its not that big ( I'd guess 12-15,000 sq ft) but, oh the cost of everything! Mind-blowing.
