What a bunch of incompetent, embarrassing assholes. I don't blame this lady one bit.

However, given procedural anomalies and delays, my purpose-fueled drive to equitably serve the children of EBR is misaligned with the current focus of the board.

Unfortunately, the conditions for success are near non-existent in this governance tableau. What should matter most is creating a district culture that drives life-changing, equitable outcomes for the city’s children. Tragically, this is not the current focus and given that misalignment, I am withdrawing my name from consideration.

EBRP rejoices at this welcomed news.

WOOF! OUCH!
And they chastise those that support St George.

The dipshits who disrupted everything are continuing to agitate that Adam Smith get the job.

They should look at some some employees from the Baton Rouge zoo to fill this opening. They have plenty of experience handling dangerous animals.

Equitable, equitable, equitable.

And after Adam Smith fails, there will be no accountability by the parents, faculty, and school admin who pushed for this.

This is one of the biggest shite shows in Baton Rouge. And that says a lot. "They're not like us". Lololololol

The entire system is a black female sorority that exists only to prompte and empower the least of them.

Then they better be used to having someone come in and pick their membership like black fraternities and sororities do.

Meanwhile, here in unbelievably white and wealthy St George we are finalizing our plan for a high speed monorail system to our schools.

They dug deep into the playbook for this one. Run off ALL 3 finalists, then be like "Well we have to hire Adam Smith now"

Those two finalists who removed their names will look back on this later and thank the good Lord they didn’t get the job. What a shite show. If I were on the Board, there’s no way I’d succumb to Adam Smith. Not because I know anything good or bad about him, but for the simple fact that this zoo needs to wallow in its disfunction for a while.

I mean, it kinda has been for about 30 years, which is why it has become un-fixable.
This whole process has put on display to the world why it can't be fixed. It checks all the boxes of Louisiana government inefficiency:
--A board divided along racial lines
--An outside political group buying favor and influencing decisions
--The desire of some to have a "good ole boy" get the job at all costs

I wonder how many past Superintendents have said the same exact thing.
Does anyone have a list of the last 5 to 10 who occupied the position and how long they were in it?

I see she had to say "equitable" twice.
