I was born in Southern Indiana, and never saw so much KKK activity in Louisiana, or any other southern state, as I did there. Stunning.
Not that it's midwestern based, but I flew to basic with a guy that claimed he'd *never seen a black person before*) He was from Montana.
The north was a far cry more racist than anything I experienced as a kid living on military bases with half @#$*(*%*% (meaning part X, part Y, part Z, etc.) kids that I went to school with.
The Big 10 is shite.

People are morons in general. These are college age players and sometimes in competition emotions come out. And I like players who like to talk..
As for as the game aspect of it, I think LSU shocked the shite out of Iowa. They beat South Carolina and I think they thought LSU would be an easier opponent and they got shell shocked.
