He didn't know he was doing something that could get him registered. And yes, I know that ignorance of the law is no excuse. But that isn't what happened here. If he had knowingly had sex with a 14 year old, but didn't know it was against the law, that would fit.

ID cards for women under the age of 30 should have not a current photo, but one of their senior class photos with the graduation year somewhere in the background of the photo. If the year in the photo is less than or equal to the current year right now, game on.

I knew it had to be Germans. I searched sex offender and nothing popped up on it recently which surprised me.

Funny how more blacks than whites in jail equates to "Our judicial system is broken". However, more men than women on the sex offender list? Justice is being served. These young men need a voice. They're getting fricked over because they are young, white, males. Simple as that.

that the problem with judges, they all have a god complex and feel as if they must impose their moral compass with complete disregard for the law and /or the individual and the merits of the case

I witnessed firsthand all of the BS he has to go through. Moral of the story is don't let anyone use your internet that you don't know very well and trust even more than you know them. They will get off scott free and you could be in a world of legal trouble.
There are Adobe Flash vulnerabilities that allow hackers to remotely plant whatever they want on compromised computers. If the government wants you jailed and your named dragged through the mud it's only a few clicks away from happening and there is little you can do to defend yourself if it does happen.

You know, if there's a suspicion about a girl's age, there are always questions you can ask people that will prove how old they aren't. A simple discussion about Hands Across America would have worked when I was 19 and not sure she was as old as she said.
