India will take a while to pass up the US. But I’m not sweating over India. India is not sneaky and evil like the CCP.

I saw some speculation that the ridiculous lockdowns earlier in the year was some type of exercise to condition them for war. I have to say that even though a lot of us on this board think our politicians are bought and paid for by China, there do seem to be some signs the neocons want war with them. And we have some politicians like Pelosi doing really dumb shite like going to Taiwan next month.

Might want to go back to the drawing board with that one.

Meh, looks more like china's house of cards economy is finally tumbling down.

We need a reset by getting rid of dems and RINOs in government in order to quit investing and relying on China for tech and goods.

As much as it’s fun to say this to relieve some anger, we have to acknowledge that we had a big part in creating this monster by consuming their cheap products for decades. China will be #1 in world GDP by 2030 and will hold that spot for a long time. Until we change our dependency from them, saying frick China does nothing. Cold hard truth.

China is a Communist Dictatorship it's what they do. They've had some form of organized government for thousands of years and don't really give a frick what you or anyone else thinks about them.
We shipped almost all our basic manufacturing capability to them and financed it so we could buy $5 tee shirts at Walmart.
Fascinating country playing the long game as they've done for centuries. China is our greatest financial competitor and military threat.

This is the downside to people playing by different rules. Which is why libertarians are out of their minds crying about tariffs. It's tariffs or slave labor. Take your pick.

How is this part of the "Great Reset"?
This is China facing the music on overaggressively investing to appear more well off than it actually is. China sliding is the opposite of a Great Reset.

How is the Western (primarily the US today) hegemony a "reset"? It's a return to the normal operation of the world economy as it has been for 500 years or so.
Also, you think that Chinese leadership is participating in a coordinated international effort to minimize its power and destroy its growth in order to be subjugated to the will of outsiders? That's what a "Great Rest" will entail, unless you're arguing that this "reset" is for China to dominate the world, which isn't what the common use of the term implies.
The "Great Reset" is fast approaching "Globalism" as a memetic term that has no meaning whatsoever because it's malleable to conform to whatever crazy right wing talking point/conspiracy theory the communicator is trying to promote.
China, Russia, India, and Pakistan are like 1/3 of the world's population and they will never work together in a framework where one has power over the other. How can you create a "reset" of centralized power in "globalism" with that paradigm?

Not gonna happen and it's naive to think it ever will.

Someone doesn't understand the great reset. China's technocracy is exactly what the reset is all about.

Blending welfare state socialism and monopoly capitalism, this would systematically eliminate a fundamental bulwark of personal independence and freedom—the universal right to, and rights of private property.
