Is 20" of rainfall today possible? Also, what's it look like for tomorrow?
Hi resolution short range models are showing 10"+ over the next 15 hrs. Take it with a grain of salt but the potential is there for continued heavy rain.

BR won't get near 10-15 inches of rain, unless this system moves in a more northerly direction. I just don't see anything pulling it north.

I'm no spilled milk, but it seems like the current rain shield is just sitting over us

Well, it's coming down in buckets here(lower Pointe Coupee). Radar storm total has it about 4" now.
No problem of flooding here even if 10+" come.

I hope not. The railroad tracks at Holden act like a dam and cause all that water to back up north of 190. That last flood was real bad.

Wish I was a weather nerd with a rain gauge because I'm in Watson and this has been pretty impressive. Bad impressive, but impressive.

Avoid North Blvd between Acadian and N. 22nd. Just saying.

Don't know much about flood forecasting, we need a hydrologist to chime in.
