Also just made it back from Pelican Point, water has subsided about 3-4 feet.
Not saying it won't rise again but it looks much better right now.

After all my "stay safe" advice today, I am being asked to go scoop up friends in a flooded area and just not sure if I can make it.

Does anybody know if Jefferson near Mason's is passable with a stock f150?

Doubt it.

Mason's is absolutely flooded.

I feel like I'm watching a disaster movie unfolding from Houston...I feel so helpless for all of my friends & family. We're starting to get extremely heavy rain here, but seeing the pictures...my god. Stay safe everyone

ETA: What's it looking like south of LSU down Highland (Staring area)?

I'm in the Lakes at Highland and my lake is filling up my street. So I'm about to be an island. My boys and buds got my stuff raised in short order, gathering some clothes and my guns and heading for my other crib that's on the correct side of Highland. Should have listened to what my Daddy told me all those years-"they call it Highland for a reason".

Don't know, look back a page or two and someone posted a picture from in front of Madon's. Although, it does look like an F150 is pulling a boat that way in the picture.

It's terrible.

I'm glad we GTFO early yesterday morning. Looked out the back window at 8 am...and starting frantically getting shite together. Lots of people staying behind though.

I'm in one of the newer neighborhoods off bluebonnet extension. My backyard is literally the burbank soccer fields. .. Seems to be getting a little water but nothing threatening. Are they now saying I should get to higher ground? Sorry if mentioned already.

Weather Channel is in Hammond with people starting the old routine of gutting their houses and piling it up on the sidewalk

I have no clue how to post pictures here but airline is fine from Prairieville to Sherwood. Sherwood has a high water spot by the Londener and cars are already stuck. Past that it's fine. South Harrell's Ferry has high water just off Sherwood.

Can confirm. Airline was fine from Highland to Sherwood when I drove it a hour ago.

The businesses on each side, however, are not fine
