Roads are dry here in the Summerwood Subdivision off Burbank. Drains are partially filled with water. Thinking about leaving soon just to be safe.
Live in that neighborhood as well, hello neighbor! We left earlier today and hope to return to a dry house tomorrow sometime. Please leave if you have a place to go tonight. Better safe than sorry.

Six feet?
It's unlikely, but I guess possible depending on how close she is to Barringer. I haven't lived out there long, so my estimations are very rough. Seeing that hbt's folks have water up to their windows, probably four feet and possibly a little moe.

Hey neighbor! I know some people riding it out here so I'll try to get updates on the subdivision and post them.

I heard that cops were walking through Westhaven telling people to leave. Can anyone confirm that?

I am staying at the in-laws on Highland between Bluebonnet and Siegen but we are on the high side. We have a direct view of Bayou Fountain and it APPEARS to still be flowing in the correct direction. Very full but haven't been here long enough to know whether it is still rising or holding steady. If that map was correct about the backflow being near Highland and Burbank I wonder how long it takes to work down to Bluebonnet. Anyone know how quickly that moves? Is it a slow process or rather quick?

Does anyone know how things look in the neighborhoods near the YMCA Plaza off of Perkins?

The water is completely gone for the houses on perkins

one house on the corner of profit and Barringer is set kinda low so i could see 6 feet getting in. I don't know if water is still rising in the area. The other house on the corner is up higher but I'm sure it has at least a foot in it because of how far the flood is in the neighborhood.
frick it feels helpless seeing friends getting trapped.

Any projections on back water flooding west of airline/I-10 in south Ascension Parish concerning Panama/Conway canals?

I10-west bridge being completely reclaimed by the river Manchac.
This is what will be backing up into Baton Rouge.
The more it rises, the more BR tributaries will rise.
