Share away--rather not put my name on it though. Got it from a buddy on FB that's doing the real hero actions right now

No problem, we don't like stealing pictures without attribution. Thank you.

Looks like it's the area between Flannery and Sherwood that needs evacuation. They keep saying Goodwood is all clear.

Any more details? My grandma is on Sharp near old Hammond. Sherwood Forest is a stones throw away

They're plucking people off Florida between Flannery and Sherwood.

No worries, my apologies--rather not ask him for a request right now seeing what he's got on his hands at the moment

This isn't necessarily the media, but something that really irked me today was local businesses like boutiques and restaurants posting on Instagram little photos of umbrellas and rain boots with the caption, "It is gloomy outside, but come brighten your day and shop with us when we open at 2pm!" and shite like that. Several boutiques made posts like that, and I was just in shock.
Or the restaurants. Several bragging about being open and their happy hour specials.. not even like, "Hey, if you need food, we are open". Mason's Grill posted some status about how "so so sorry" they are about deciding (at the last minute, mind you) to close tomorrow. Like.. the people on that side of town are fricked right now. You don't need to be profusely apologizing for being closed. If you're going to post anything, post things for your customers.. emergency numbers and helpful info or even just darn prayers.
As an aside: When we went to Roberts to get some essentials earlier, there were a few ladies all dressed up shopping for freaking orchids in the flower department. I was on the phone with my parents who just literally swam out of their house and evacuated.. and walked by a lady picking out orchids!

This is all going down along Goodwood and Flannery

Per radio scanner goodwood is getting high water near Flannery. Maybe at Trammel? High enough that cars are just about to get stalled out.

That's like saying "There's a tornado warning, come get your helmets!"

Can't believe I just put the plugs in my bayboat and unhooked the straps in a just incase maneuver.

What is BR going to look like when the sun comes up? People can't imagine some of these locations flooding.

It would seem that that's a good ways away from Jones Creek...that would seem to be most important right now in making that determination.
