Sounds like it. I'm North of the HS and have no water but earlier poster said water went down at 5pm.

Possible. I think there's a chance the Goodwood/Woodcliff area sees flooding.

how much is bayou fountain is expected to flood?

That's up for debate. I think anyone in the Bayou Fountain watershed higher than 21.5' will be fine though. I'd watch closely if you are anywhere near the flood zone though.

We are closer to the front but not all the way. Here is a pic of the street a few houses down from us.

Street full of water and front edge of yards and sidewalks as well. There was no water on this street 8 hours ago.

I'm gonna ask again because im concerned and don't want to wake up to chaos. Does anyone know if water backing up will effect mid city BR. There's a canal that runs through that area crossing Gov street and Claycut Rd. I live very close. Thanks

Just now was the first time all day that the Comite went down in the stage update, hopefully it's a sign it's on the downhill.

There will be someone with truck nuts driving rapidly up and down that street soon.

Pecue at Jefferson (by Stumberg) is flooded. So is the gun store next to it. Starting to see flooding from Pecue to Airline.

Ward Creek crosses government around Longwood Court.

It would have to be 45 feet to impact that area significantly. It's very unlikely that flooding will occur there at least tonight. Les Mile's house off Corporate would flood before that.

My inlaws are on the lake as well. They don't worry about anything so they were asleep at 9 without any preparations. Things looking like it will hold up over there?

These people should know what's going on and not be surprised like many were earlier today. I called WAFB about some of the flooding. Contact them at 225-415-4801 (for those that don't know the number). People should be informed.
