My road goes north off of 42 into Bayou Manchac. Water is currently rising and shows no sign of slowing down. I'm on the high point of my street and raised about 1.5 feet. I've never been concerned about flooding but I am now. About half of the houses past mine are either flooded or surrounded by water.

I don't think I'd be out in a boat rescuing people...
But I'd be helping in other means...
But right now I can't do jack squat. It is sad.

That's where I'm at. Ditches haven't even filled up today. The creek by Duplessis Primary down the street overflowed but didn't seem to get too out of control. Fingers crossed that the backflow isn't too bad.

Did you have a brand new black JK Rubi at one point and tore a hub off on a trail ride? Not sure why I remember that but I remember a user on la4x4 with the same username.

Try to contact authorities in that area. I doubt you could get there from BR or Ascension right now.
