Nice people next door to the barn are letting us use their wifi.

Looks like I'm stuck at the barn. Ronnie and Henry is flooded. Anybody know what direction muddy creek flows in relation to Henry? Trying to figure out if it is going the right way or wrong way right now.

Yeah, inlaws are the only ones with a landline, but their house is self-sufficient so they don't know anything.

Haven't heard from anyone other than that.

Also the Irma / Cornerview area - by city hall and the dixie youth field and the neighborhood across the street.

I don't know how useful I am here anymore - I was able to warn a lot of you that this would happen but now, it's happening and all we can do now is watch, wait, and get reports.

I will say this... the theoretical maximum for backwater flooding is all the way up to Terrace and Highland, LSU/Tiger Stadium, and event the Garden District.

Could you give a description of what this means? I am right where the arrow goes through towards Tiger Stadium.

Updated readings for Claycut Bayou at Antioch. Water is currently 28.42 feet. It was 28.40 at 1:00. So that's pretty good news. It appears to be leveling off a little bit. Still nervous as this is a huge canal line that runs through the middle of South Baton Rouge

Yea, I was worried that would get above 30 feet. Definitely good news IMO.

Just had to head out to sherwood and old Hammond. I was parked for no more than 30 minutes and water had to have risen 6 inches

Basically, if the water flows backwater for a long time, that is where it will overspill it's banks.

Is it raining in Baton Rouge / LP now? A storm is coming through in Mandeville and I checked the radar and see showers to the west where it's not needed at all right now.

Was in Sherwood Forest a few hours ago. Water came up 9 inches in an hour. Was still rising fast when we left.
