Does anyone else find that song more than a little disturbing? It creeps me out.
Besides, the beer sucks.
He even included Marricone’s “Ecstasy of Gold” from YT in his OP

The movies that made Clint Eastwood a household name:
A Fistful of Dollars..........filmed 1964......US release Jan 1967
A Few Dollars More......filmed 1965...US release May 10, 1967
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Filmed 1966.....US release Dec 29 1967
Clint before this is known for Rawhide
After he is a superstar.
These movies all played at the Broadmoor in Baton Rouge, saw them all there in 1967.
Clint played a minor role in one other movie in 1967 with a limited release, after that he is the superstar.
Hang 'Em High 1968
Coogan's Bluff 1968
Where Eagles Dare 1968
Paint your Wagons 1969 (R.E. Lee)

When you consider just how good Sergio's work was and that he had a relatively poor command of the English language, it makes it all the more amazing.
Obviously, he focused on the visual, but still.
(ETA: And maybe he ripped Kurosawa off a little bit, but everything is derivative to a degree.)

The first Clint Eastwood movie I ever saw was High Plains Drifter. One of my all-time favorite movies. It’s hard to believe Clint’s pushing towards 100 years old.

Saw an interview with Burt Reynolds and he and Clint went over Europe to get in on the spaghetti western thing at the same time and were viewed pretty much the same as actors.
Of course Clint got the Sergio classics but Burt ended up in the not well received Navajo Jo. And it changed how they were viewed as serious actors for many many years after.

"I wonder what she's so mad about?"
"Probably cause you didn't go back for more."
