The social network's founder and CEO believes that one day, we'll be able to share our thoughts directly -- brain to brain -- using technology.

"You'll just be able to think of something and your friends will immediately be able to experience it too if you'd like," Zuckerberg said. "This would be the ultimate communication technology."

He made his comments during a public Q&A session on his Facebook (FB, Tech30) page on Tuesday afternoon. The response was addressed to a user who asked about Facebook's long-term plans.

Someone needs to tell Mark Z about a fool and his money before he goes all-in on R&D.

One day we will be able to. If you think about it right now we are able to share our thoughts with anyone we are friends with all over the world, no matter where either of you are, in less than a second. If you would have said that would be real 30 years ago most people would call you crazy.

So the liberals and SJW's can get offended over peoples inner thoughts.

Well, he's right, and it could be as in little as 20 years. They can already decide very simple and absolute words like yes, no, right, and left. It's the abstract ones that are difficult to nail down. Once we have completely mapped out the human brain (which they've been working on for 30 years and still has quite a few more years before it is complete), that's when we'll be able to accelerate this technology.
