I think you should buy a truck that fits your needs then.

For your needs probably 75% or ICE trucks are ruled out as well.

Ford’s invested $950 million into factory expansion, added 750 jobs, and doubled production

Excuse me maybe im misunderstanding this, but $950 million only comes with 750 new jobs?

No. A 21' boat plus trailer is what, 3-5k lbs? Less than half the truck's tow capacity. Sticking by 200+ miles of range while towing this as opposed to ~320 towing nothing.

It’s as much, if not more, about drag at highway speeds than it is weight. And both will work to reduce range.

That is a huge amount of jobs for that investment.

Gron in BR is talking about 1100 jobs for 9.2B investment.

I can only imagine what a tow behind Rv would do to EV mileage. Shame too as electric motors make monster torque. Might be a truck in appearance but other than grabbing some things at Home Depot it will be useless.

Which services most of the needs of truck owners.

This isn't a truck for someone who tows a lot. Think that is obvious.

Or... you could realize that today's infrastructure can actually support a whole lot of EVs, and that where infrastructure upgrades are needed it will happen hand-in-hand with EV adoption. Anything near 90% adoption will take decades, sure, but if everyone waits around for the infrastructure to be built before buying an EV, it will never happen.

Or...you could take that shite to Reddit.

My Suburban can pull the bass boat and comfortably seat 7, also the range is a little better with about 350 miles while towing. I think the Cybertruck is cool and all but with the current infrastructure it is something of a novelty.

Hope they can build and ship faster than the current F150s. I'm coming up on 5 months since I ordered and it's been built for a month still waiting on a train from Detroit, then an additional month to get delivered to my dealer.

Ordered an F-150 in February and earliest it would arrive is August. I said frick it last week and bought a 2022 Silverado. Wasn't about to sink any more money into my old truck while waiting on a new one. I'm happy with the Silverado.

The 27’ world cat I used to own begs to differ. Fully loaded with ice and 240 gallons of fuel that beast weighed in close to 10,000 lbs. put my F250 diesel in its place.
Yeah I'd probably wait for the F250 Lightning.

If I am going to spend $40k and up on a vehicle it has too meet all of my needs, and not because it is the latest tech.

Yeah the tech doesn't improve my vehicle ownership experience in its current form. Change for the sake of change is kind of dumb, especially when it's more expensive.
