The editor of BRBR provides some background to the St. George movement.

He illustrates how Kip Holden and pat smith early on derailed an ISD for Central and then for SG, and how the unions were protected by the politicians and EBR lost a chance at some quality charter schools. It's a good read, and it gives some background info about what has been going on for awhile now.

There are many critics of those who want to organize the city of St. George. But let’s look back and see who is really responsible for this movement. No one woke up one day and said, “Let’s start a city.” That wasn’t the case for the city of Central either. Both movements arose from parents who wanted good schools for their children and who didn’t want to move out of the parish to achieve that. Can you blame them?

Where the frick was he 2.5 years ago?
Oh, yeah...participating in the opposition to STG.
This is nothing more than buyer's remorse for selling out to SWB and her merry band of fricking idiots and witnessing the shitstorm that has resulted.

Rolf gets one right for once.
Central and St George are blocked from an ISD due to no city, so both attempt to form cities.
And the St George train is pretty much inevitable at this point because of the tactics used to block the previous vote.
BR won the battle through strategic incorporations and questionable interpretations of petitions but they will probably lose the war because they galvanized a lot of people against them because of the tactics used.

Biggest thing is that City of BR CANNOT annex anything in the proposed city while the petition is pending.

Exactly. The first time around, it was essentially about creating an ISD. Now it's about a lot more...incompetent and racist city leadership, skyrocketing crime, crumbling infrastructure, as well as a failing public school system.

And even though a new city won't impact what's going on in the overall parish; watching Judge White, Mayor Broome, and the corruption and poor governance we are seeing makes the SG movement even more popular.

THIS is that whole article summed up in one sentence. Talk about a guy that blew up a life time reputation in a matter of months. frick him from here on out.

This x 1000. Screw Rolf and his backing SWB for mayor. For that, his credibility is gone forever. Cancelled mine and my company’s subscriptions to the Business Report because of it.

Sigh. Rolfe's family and Sharon's have been close for years. From when she was at WBRZ. And Bodi White wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire.

Rolfe provided legitimacy to an administration who was bring in people like Gravy, giving grants to rappers, and to kids putting on mid night basketball games.
What made Rolfe turn? I'm guessing Broome ditching the Tram had something to do with it, but I could be wrong.

I think the endorsement was more of a “Bodi is crap, I know Sharon, and surely she can’t be that bad.”
Well, he was wrong.
I wasn’t high on SWB but I didn’t think she’d be this terrible.

It will be the joyful anti-white racism on social media that will seal this deal. The council on Aging debacle and SWB spooning with people like Gravy every night on tv made things clear, and hood rats wishing death on white people will push it over the top. Normal people are tired of being lectured by the very worst among us.

White was a terrible candidate, but Rolfe should have sat on the sidelines.
Didn't he sit on one of her kangaroo committees too? Which one was that?
