The only area in the path of totality for both of them is southern, IL, around the Carbondale area.

I'm on a plane heading northwest, so can't see shite, but it looks "cloudy" above the clouds, so I guess that's the extent of my eclipse experience.

The moon is okay in my book. Life as we know might not exist if it wasn't for the moon's gravity affecting tides (i.e. organisms being trapped with little or no water during low tide promoted evolution towards terrestrial organisms).

to kinda make his point for him... the 2024 & 2045 eclipses will both be total eclipses in west central and north central Arkansas

shitty in wichita. got kinda gloomily darker for a bit and cooler than it was done. guess you cant really tell much difference without the glasses.
