Most towns serve beer all day long on Sundays...or every gas station I went to on Sundays were just breaking the law.

I couldn't get a beer on Sunday until 12:30PM. At that moment, I knew that place wasn't for me.

They changed the law to 10am if I'm not mistaken. You were obviously in a southern baptist city/town.

NO is cool and has "culture" but it is a total shite hole. Even post Katrina, the place is just dirty. I guess if I was a hipster or grew up in the city I'd like it, otherwise it sucks.

BTW, my wife is from NELA and we had to go to Bastrop to bury her father. She likes the Strawberitas so we got a 12 pack. She noticed that the alcohol content was 6 instead of 8 percent. She got back home and got a can from her South La. Stash and there was the proof...

There's absolutely nothing else to do in NLA.. Half of the talent in SLA get in trouble or find other things to do with their time before 10th/11th grade
