Don't be ridiculous.

If I gave you 5 minutes of my time you'd be in love.

You're framing this incorrectly. They don't "desire" to reproduce. The ones that have a certain sequence of instructions that appear to be the desire to reproduce, are the ones that stick around.

Fair enough...I agree.

Do you know if that sequence has been mapped?

Because God said so.

Killing viruses goes against everything God intended. You may think they're not alive but tell that to those who have a tiny virus in their body. It's alive, it's real and it's God's plan.

5 minutes? So, we’d have to have sex 5 times?

Who said anything about sex? There's like a 95% chance I wouldn't even acknowledge your existence.

As far as sex, you'd have to get past the audition phase.

I said they were nonliving in the OP. Never said they were living.

I get it, you’re new here... but this isn’t a dating site.

Also, there’s a waiting list for Pecker.

But virus are an interesting clump of large molecules. They are just floating around inside us and in our bodily fluids outside of us just waiting for the right opportunity to enter a host and replicate.

My supposition is simply that our deep desire to have secks stems form our genes (DNA) wanting to replicate.

I didn't want this thread to get political or racists. But it's somehow turned into a dating thread. That just demonstrates the power of DNA.

I’ll probably sit this one out. I’m still catching up Season 2 of “A Handmaid’s Tale,” and I’m getting close to needing an oil change.

Doesn't answer the question.

Why do the ones that want to replicate want to replicate?
