I jumped in right when Camille had those pics side by side, did Camille basically show that what Amber said was 2 different pics in different lighting was actually the same picture filtered to show more red on her cheek? If so then wow

The wife and I were talking about who would play Amber Turd in a movie.
We came up with Imogen Poots.
So it would be I. Poots plays A. Turd.

She may get in trouble for perjury.
So I’ve been doing some research. It seems there are 4 areas where Depp has to prove defamation. I hadn’t done too much research prior because I didn’t think he was actually going to win.
But that has changed.
He has to prove:
He’s doing very good so far. Let’s see where it goes.
Hopefully this helps everyone understand better. Including me.
So I’ve been doing some research. It seems there are 4 areas where Depp has to prove defamation. I hadn’t done too much research prior because I didn’t think he was actually going to win.
He has to prove:
quote:So Falsity seems to be the biggest hurdle for Depp imo. He has to prove each and every statement of hers false. It can’t just be that the jury doesn’t believe her, Depp has to actually prove every defamatory statement and allegation false. Hence why they are going through each allegation and giving witnesses who saw her the day of the referenced allegations. And showing pictures from the day of the referenced allegation.
Publication. The term publication in defamation actions is broader than you may realize. A statement does not have to be formally distributed in print to be considered published; it merely needs to be seen, heard, or read by someone apart from the person making the statement and the subject of the statement. This means that if the statement is heard over the television, seen scrawled on someone’s door, or merely overheard in a conversation, it can be considered published in the context of the law.
Falsity. In order for a statement to be considered slanderous, it must be verifiably false. Just because someone pointed out a disgraceful action that the plaintiff committed that consequently ruined her reputation doesn’t mean she can sue for defamation. A true statement, although potentially harmful, would not be considered defamatory. In addition, statements of personal opinion are not considered slanderous, as they are subjective and not claiming to be 100% true.
Negligence and malicious intent. In order for a statement to be considered as defamation, it must have been made with the knowledge that it was false. A private citizen must show that the defendant knew (or should have known) the statement was false before giving it, but decided to give it anyway. The law differs for public figures and celebrities as they must be able to prove specific malicious intent in order to pursue a lawsuit, not just negligence. This means that they must prove that a statement was made with prior knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false, with the intent to harm the target’s reputation.
Damages. In order to pursue a defamation lawsuit, a plaintiff must be able to prove that the statement’s interpretation of her character directly led to personal damages such as being fired, creating marital problems, or becoming a social pariah. Therefore, although she may not like what someone has said about her, if the consequences of a statement were merely a bruised ego, it isn’t enough to pursue a successful lawsuit.

How many statements has Heard made and have ANY of them been verifiably true?
Everything we have seen so far seems to be verifiably false given her stories vs photographic and eyewitness evidence.

I haven’t been keeping track, but I don’t think she has to prove anything verifiably true. I think the burden is on Depp to prove them verifiably false.
They’ve tackled a lot of those and are doing really good. But I haven’t actually kept count.
A lawyer can step in at any time and correct. Just going by my understanding.

It is hard to say, when looked at through glasses that are muddied by her inability to answer a question. When asked yes or no questions she rambles on, as if rehearsing some soliloquy. When the attorney tries to cut off her pontificating, she trudges through, and makes sure the jury hears whatever bilge she was slogging through.

She has definitely not proven anything verifiably false in her countersuit. That entire suit is completely without merit.

LawTube is having a blast with the "pledge" vs. "donate" thing from yesterday

The talking heads were just discussing that, oddly, without presenting any facts, an opinion, or taking a stand.
Overall, the head talking head is on AH's side. She is slanted, and not just because she is part Asian.
I want to make the prop turd for the movie. I will painstakingly shape it out of wood, with saws and a dremel. I think I can finish it with some good taping, 4 colors of brown spray paint, and a set of sharpies.
I wonder if they want corn with that?
