Dumbass cops have went Klingon-level on bright lights.
Properly aimed OEM lights are fine, its all the cheap aftermarket shite that sucks including what's installed on police cars.

I hate LED lights in the house, but I don't think that's it.

It's an abomination.
We moved into a new house with every bulb in the entire house that dreadful soulless bright white.
It's hard for me to believe that people out there actually enjoy living like that.
