So, it's all a guess.

The Navy wouldn't be relieving him if they didn't have evidence to back this claim up. The crime isn't that he wrote it. It's the fact that it leaked. And if he's the one that leaked it, he should be relieved of his command and never allowed to command at sea again.

Dude made a call to protect his people, knowing it would likely end his career. Probably ran it up the chain and it came back down with a massive “frick YOU, Captain”

He made a call knowing it would likely ruin his career. Dude is a hero. OPSEC violation is just a bullshite excuse. Dude went public and the Navy said “frick you, next”

OPSEC violations happen frickin daily on US military radios and channels around the world. The ship was in Guam. They were in no danger at all. Dude is being relieved for not getting in line and chose to protect his people. The military could use more officers like this guy.

Read the memo. He came across looking completely panicked and pretty much gave the impression that this thing was out of control while getting into the specifics as to how and why it was out of control. The Chinese or the Russians would be able to look at that memo and come to the conclusion that if it's that bad on one U.S. warship, it might be like that on others.

Lol dude the Chinese and Russians have so much information on our military already. So many of our current forces are fricking Instagram wannabe ‘influencers’ and post opsec breaching stuff on social media on a daily basis. The Chinese have been hacking us for a long time. They have all the info they want. Some guy’s letter asking to help those under his command aren’t giving away national security secrets.

I feel like you don’t know what ambiguous means.

You seem to know a lot about what the Russians and the Chinese know. What are you? NSA? CIA? DIA?

I work for a subsidiary of those all rolled into one. We are the Brach for America Worldwide but most people call us B.A.W. for short.

In his defense, I think he knew more than all these agencies supposedly did about how many people were dying in Wuhan of this virus.

Never heard of it. I guess ONI employees aren't cleared to your level.

Honestly I’m not surprised. We’re not that big yet. We just got a new Vice President though, Pat, who handles most of our murgers and acquisitions. He’s got a lot going on behind the scenes but I think he can really put us on the level of the aforementioned agencies.
