KPLC even mentions the City Club in their article this week about the history of the tower

A look back at the history of the Capital One Tower

quote:

When the 310-foot tower opened in 1983, it dwarfed other buildings downtown, becoming the focal point of the city’s skyline. Home to many law, financial and accounting firms, it featured a high-end bank at ground level and a top-level restaurant, the City Club, which also served as a venue for weddings and Mardi Gras events.

Lake Charles will go from the #3 skyline in the state behind New Orleans and Shreveport/Bossier to like 10th in 30 seconds.

Does this move Alexandria or Monroe into the number three slot?

Had my wedding reception at The City Club. The Pioneer Club is in the Chase Tower.

BS! Baton Rouge & Metairie have better skylines than LC.

This is SAD! 22 stories impressive for a city LC's size!
