what Nevada city is further west than Los Angeles
Is it farther or further? Or both?
Farther relates to distance, and further relates to degree.
Discuss.

What US capital is closes to the equator?
Austin, Texas, would be my guess; it's the farthest south US capital.

Carson City is the capital of Nevada and it is also further west than Los Angeles.

Athens, Georgia
ETA: Gainesville and Columbia aren't the South East.

I seriously doubt there are more people with PHD's in Athens, GA than there are in Huntsville, AL, the Silicon Valley of the East.

It’s not a fair comparison anyway. The PhD’s in Huntsville work. The ones in Athens are professors.
