Are they a legit running/fitness shoe, or just a fad? I see a great percentage of the moms and dads at Traction with them on. I’ve never owned a pair.

Very comfortable and great for working out

Only thing that sucks is that they can become rock and stick traps if you wear them outside.

Gotcha, I was skeptical about the look of the soles, saw a lot a folks wearing them but never pulled the trigger on them.

No doubt they’re the go to shoe for the private school parent hanging around whatever weekend activity the kids are doing. That said, they are light weight and comfortable in south La hot weather. They also hold up pretty well and dry fast after getting wet in rain.

I was skeptical about getting a pair due to the price but no regrets. Easily the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned.

If you are talking about the Swiss brand On who makes the Cloud then yes they are a legit running shoe. The Cloud is one of the better lightweight racing flats out currently.

Someone mentioned rocks and they do pick them up. Nike has had several soles over the years that had a similar pod build and they pick up rocks too. Not much of an issue but you can bring them into the house and scratch floors if you aren't aware fo the issue.

I have a pair and love them. I run and workout in them. They aren’t the most visually appealing to me but my fatass bought them to make me run and it worked

I’ve been through 2 pair. I’m not a fan. I tried them as a running shoe and at work. For the price, they just don’t hold up. They’re nice for walking around running errands, but that’s it.

I tried on a pair of their trail runners(I don't trail run, but use trail runners as my hiking shoes) and I immediately knew I'd hate them. Those things screamed turned ankle.

I’m with you on the aesthetics which is why I was inquiring. They are damned ugly but if they are that comfortable I can understand why I see so many in them. I prefer the Nike React series for running and the Metcon 3’s for working out.

Yup I have a pair of Metcons too. I usually do treadmill sprints after working out tho and much prefer the ONs than the Metcons to run in so I most always wear my ONs. Both on the levee outside and treadmill.

They have been the best non-dress show I have ever owned.

Went to look to buy something in uptown. Stepped in human feces and didn't realize it until we got to the french quarter. Really fun to get out of all those holes in a mall bathroom.
