To you maybe. It’s not like all of these are disgruntled. Many are vested in profit sharing and got payouts from the sale, on top of 3 month severances. Most of them will be fine and land on their feet somewhere else.

All the pioneers of industry would be vilified by the parasites on social media. Henry Ford flat out told the media that he hired people much smarter than himself and what do you know, the assembly line and wild success followed.

Social media allowing unproductive dregs to have a voice is a huge mistake of humanity.

I have full faith that he and his crew will figure it out with Twitter. But I fully expect Twitter to be vastly different on every single level than the Twitter we knew. It would probably do better for him to relaunch it entirely under a new name.

I think that is the plan and he’s calling it X.

would be? They are. Henry Ford and Edison are pretty routinely shite on online for their worst traits with zero real credit given for what they gave humanity.

One of the main reasons I hope he leaves Twitter in ashes like this…

I guess we’ll see if advertisers who paused their ad spending resume that again. Even the advertisers who are now actively spending money on Twitter have not been enough to make up for what was lost dollars wise.

This shite happens to Tucker Carlson’s show once every six months when crybullies like you go threaten their advertisers. They back off for a month and then quietly start advertising on his show again.

Didn’t know, I gave up any and all social media like three years ago. Gotta love millennials who have $130k in student loan debt living in their parents’ basements lecturing the world on how bad our country is.

No mention of the Saudi royal family? Then it's not the biggest example.

Yeah, he's trying to create his own version of wechat, it's just weird that he hasn't really stated it yet.

Come out and say hey I'm tearing this thing down to the screws, but I'm going to build it back better. Maybe the banks financing the deal know it. It's just weird that he wouldn't start creating hype around it yet.

He made wise strategic investments and deserves a ton of credit for that. But success is not built by one man, and often times is the case, you can do absolutely great building one business and utterly fail at the next.

We’ll see what happens at Twitter, but right now it feels like Musk is trying to run the hardcore routine he used at Tesla(which was already a much, much more sound business model and had a ton of investor backing), which most people that came to that project had starry dreams of changing the world and solving major issues like climate change through tech innovation. Twitter is a glorified message board with a poor business structural foundation that Musk seems to not have any answers for either to this point, besides making major cuts and handing out ultimatums.

For instance here is why this employee is leaving despite feeling a strong connection to the work he did there

LINK

Also from reading this stuff, seems like the way Musk offered the ultimatum was incredibly stupid. Basically sign away your right to this nice severance package to jump head first into the chaos with me, as I offer no concrete plan or vision as to why you should, and hey, I might end up firing you later anyways. So good luck and choose wisely!!…and most are just saying, yeah, I’ll take 3 months pay and work on my resume, good luck with this

How are you so good on one board and so utterly awful on every other one?

I am perplexed

It's a juxtaposition I battle with daily seeing his posts

So does he. In the end, his goal is something comparable to chinas we chat.

Painful to whom? The two billionaires you listed? People posting on the internet? You live in bizarro world.

I’m amazed how some of you confidently always run to let everyone know you lack the ability to read and process words correctly….

Then why post about the 200k at all? It’s completely irrelevant, yet you still posted it.

Also, I responded to this post:

quote:

You left out the 200k angel investment spearheaded by his father…. Musk retroactively claims he could have got it elsewhere, cause of course, you don’t want to admit you had a little help along the way lol.

You said that in response to this post:
quote:

Musk started Zip2 with his brother with 28k, sold it later for 320 million. The soy boys are way off.

Which words of yours, specifically, did I read and process incorrectly when I asked:
