The US life expectancy is 79.

You are more likely to die from just being alive than you are to die of the coronavirus.

You actually gain 2 years of life expectancy if you catch the virus.

Stay home. Stay safe. Follow your orders.

And around 40% of deaths are folks living in nursing homes

If you’re (a) under the age of 70 without major underlying conditions and (b) don’t live in a nursing home, then you have nearly nothing to worry about

This is for your own good, citizen. Your safety is paramount. Now put on this mask and stay 6 feet back.

This is where they lost me, I argued for the stay at home with many of my friends bc of all the doctors I’m close with. After it was clear the “overwhelming the system will lead to people dying of every day commonplace bc no resources will be available” just wasn’t going to happen, then it was the vent shortage, which has now been disproven as the correct treatment path.

It’s now just a bunch of ball less politicians and doctors on the soap boxes enjoying the extra attention.

This thing is getting hard to deal with. And I usually don’t go out and do much..... I have been going on about my life pretty much as I usually do..... BUT Friday is gonna be a clusterfrick in Louisiana. People will be everywhere. Which can be a great thing.... spend that money... people will get together in huge amounts this weekend. Just watch.

That's a pretty damning statistic for these lockdowns honestly.

We have moved to “not until a vaccine is ready” this is extremely concerning. A vaccine is not a cure and only stimulates the immune system to do what it naturally already does. This goalpost seems the weakest and most illogical of them all. This isn’t about a virus anymore it’s about crushing this country.

They said on the radio this morning no one in the state of Alabama under the age of 50 has died of the virus. The median age of those who have died here is like 72. The county where I live, which is less than an hour from B’ham, we have fewer than 50 total cases and 0 deaths since this started.

Yeah, a 100% chance of death trumps anything less than 100%. Everytime.

Not just that. Alabama breaks down the numbers to include Docs/Nurses, Longterm Care Facility workers, and Longterm Care Facility Reisidents.
Those three groups represent over 3,000 cases of the 10,700 cases AL has.
When you don't count those three groups, 0.138% (as of a couple days ago) of AL's population have tested positive for the virus.

But what about all the articles like this one LINK back in March saying it was super dangerous for young people? There has been so much misinformation on this whole thing and it literally worked the entire country into a frenzy and economic disaster.
