The Amount of Gun Deaths Involving Teens & Children

Over the last few days I noticed a lot of news stories involving teenagers and someone dying from a gun shots.
Four Teens Facing Charges
Grandson Accidently Kills Grandmother
Teen Killed While Playing Russian Roulette
11 Year Old Kills Herself Afer Being Bullied
Man Shoots 9 Year Old
Earlier I heard about someone's family member, a 15 year old kid was taken off of life support today after shooting himself earlier in the week.
Wasn't a 3 year old shoot and killed earlier this week, somewhere in Louisiana?
I know it's not that hard to get a gun "in the street", but an 11 year old shouldn't have access to a gun. Is no one teaching these teenagers gun safety? It is still required to take a gun safety class if you are a teenager and want to get a hunting license right?
BTW, the links I provided are just some examples, I am not only referring to those situations.

I taught my girls about guns and how to shoot starting around 7 but I have a 1000 lb Liberty Safe that I store them in and one in a biometric safe. I trust my girls around guns but not their friends.
I grew up in a different era. We lived in the country and dad had guns laying all over the house. We knew it meant our arse if we touched them without him around

I get what you saying, generally I do not think we need the government telling us what we can or can't do, but people call on the government when other things are causing deaths.
Everyone is concerned about terrorist or criminals coming in from other countries, but when you bring up any type of safety involving guns then everyone is ready to pump the breaks.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to say we need to take away people's guns. I am a true believer in the constitution. I am just curious as to why senseless deaths caused by guns take a back seat to other things that cause death.

This is a good point. I grew up in a small town, with family who lived out in the country. I thought everyone had guns in their house, because that's how it was when I was a kid. Everyone I knew had guns, mostly for hunting.
Me and my cousins, other kids around.. from the "country", it was a known "no-no" to not touch a gun unless an adult gives you permission and is teaching you how to use it. Either this isn't done as much anymore or kids just don't think twice..

Here’s a homework lesson Oweo, How many deaths are related to alcohol and compare it to gun related deaths. Are there people who aren’t responsible and cause senseless acts? Sure

It's been a really bad year in downtown STl for gun deaths and kids.
Majority have been really young, and hit by drive by bullets.
It's sad, but eventually if some one refuses to do something you begin to stop caring.
It's like a Local Black, former Alderwoman tweeted after some white guy shot some one locally and the whole neighbor hood pointed him out to the cops.. "This White muther shot 1 person and they ratted his arse out in seconds. We still don't know who shot the 4 year old and his mother from 2 months ago." Then she said something about caring about the community and call these people out by turning them in.
Of course she was labeled as uncle tom, etc. But she is 100% right.

I just looked it up.. Damn, approximately 88k people in the US die a year, from alcohol related deaths.

I don't know the numbers, but i wouldn't hesitate to say that at least 30 kids of age 9 or less have been killed by drive by/gun violence.

The deaths cause by opioids triple the deaths caused by guns (not including suicides).
Honestly this is a price we pay for the freedoms we have. There will always be dumb assholes who get a hold of weapons and use them improperly. Meanwhile 99.99% of gun owners are responsible with their weapons.
It’s a non issue and it’s beating a dead horse.
