Because kids and jesus. Plus people in positions of power like to impose their morals on other folks. They get laws passed that sort of fit their agenda.
Never mind the people who made the laws, what's really bizarre are the people who make it their life's work to enforce them. Just imagine busting in on some dude getting his dick rubbed, putting him in hand cuffs, and taking him to jail. Or walking by some kid smoking a j and feeling compelled to lock him up. Who are you protecting?
Anyone who cares what consenting adults are doing behind closed doors, is an arse hole. The end.
