It really is.

It’s an award for a series in how the state doesn’t require a unanimous verdict outside of capital murder trials and how it unfairly hurts black people.

My response is “Stop breaking the law, a-hole!” I severely doubt we had a plague of unfairly convicted black peoples because you only had to get 10 out of 12. Christ, if their judge was Trudy White, they may have ended up out on “compassionate leave” while awaiting sentencing and living next door to their victims.

That had to be quadruple checked for spelling. No errors. My God, it can be done.

This must be a joke.

The Advocate has to have more grammatical errors per sentence than any other newspaper in the country.

Louisiana has the highest incarceration rate in the fricking world (or damn close to it). In part due to this type of attitude.

No, we have a high incarceration rate because we have a serious “culcha” problem where people lie cheat and steal until they either kill someone or get killed.

Fix the fricking communities involved. But that’s racist because you can’t tell minorities not to commit crimes.
