Just finished the whole video.
It's a great piece. And for all you guys who've read "Digital Soldier", we're not there yet.
This plane is vital.

We have a camp in the Honey Island Swamp... Back in the late 80's they flew maneuvers over the swamp... Those huge engines made the loudest whistling sound when they flew over... Bad arse plane...

AC-130W and the AC-130J for starters.
---------------------------------------------------------
Are AC-130s flying daylight missions these days? The was a time, not too long ago, when they had to come off station before sunrise because of their vulnerability to man portable SAMs.

damn good video...reminds me of my childhood spent watching the A-10 exercises in CenLa...I have really grown fond of that memory that I completely took for granted at that time....
it wasn't until the first war in Iraq that I realized the strategic importance of that aircraft...

Dude, the 35 is garbage and the A10 can do CAS better and cheaper. Politicians, defense contractors and Flag level officers should be thrown in jail for ramming that peice of shite through.

Bad arse. frick all those who have tried to mothball the A-10.

My arse has been taken out of harms way by the A-10. Pinned down in a shite hole village on a mountain and that beautiful bitch came down from on high, nose spewing death and left many a mooj and their vehicles a bloody, burning scene.

The A-10 first appeared in the Air Force arsenal in 1972 and was used with great effect in Operation Desert Storm. Comparatively, the Air Force’s B-52 fleet was first introduced in 1955 and is still in service.
Bringing the B-52 into this argument is a classic example of a red herring.

So you want to fly an A-10?
Step 1, grow a porn mustache.

I see the amount of man hours and parts that are put into these to keep them air worthy. It's a ton, and parts are getting harder and harder to come by.
The CAS mission can be effectively done by other aircraft.
take that logic elsewhere!

he WartHog shits all over the F-35 any day of the week. The F-35 is a disgusting of spectacle waste of taxpayer money and abuse. It's rife with corruption, cronysim, and sheer headedness to put dangerous equipment into our military that just doesn't work and and endangers our pilots and soldiers in the field.
You got sources or just listen to the hyperbole on the internet?

How many man hours does it take to keep a 35 in the air? How many to keep a B52 in the air?

There's a lot of porn stache in that video.

We do have an A-10 pilot who posts here. And also a stealth bomber pilot who's wife is a real whore. A real horse faced whore.

The F-35 loses to older aircraft. It is a massive money black hole that is largely a piece of shite.
Sources? Early in the F-22's lifespan, everyone was saying how big a POS it would be. As someone who has seen it in action; those early reports were vastly incorrect. There's a reason the F-35 is still in test and is not even IOC (Initial Operational Capability) yet.

We also have a black helicopter pilot.
Scruffy isn't sure if his helicopter is black though.

Are you saying that the F35 can do CAS as well as the A10, that it can do air to air as well as the F22?
