My office is 7-5 and those who come in at 8 are mocked. I am 7-4.

I normally work 5a-1p
Sometimes I come in at midnight to 8a.

It's a transportation terminal, ships keep weird hours. I love being off by noon or 1p

Yeah well that’s not really a worry of mine and a 70% chance will never be a worry of mine.

Other two guys in my department work 7-3:30. We just have to have coverage from around 7 to 4:30.

I could work 9-5:30 if I really wanted to.

A better model would be 5-6 hours and no lunch break.

10-3 or something similar.

At least 2 hours a day are wasted on BS and getting in the flow early in the morning, after lunch, and stalling before 5

Why not 10-6/11-7?

Then you will just sleep later and go to bed later. Some people are early risers.

I prefer my free time to be after work rather than before.

For like the last 2 weeks all I've been getting called for is nights. I've even tried resetting by laying off and my phone wont ring until like 6pm at the earliest.

I think God hates me or something.

As a salaried employee, I work 9-5. I work (or on call) enough off-hours that they can kiss my arse if they think I'm going to make every day a 9hr day to eat lunch.

I wish I could work 6-2:30 on a regular basis. I find I’m much more productive when I get to work that early. I’m usually one of just a few people there. Don’t get any calls yet...so have a few hours to get work done. Also....it’s so quiet and peaceful.

Plus....leaving at 2:30 pm feels amazing

I technically have to be available 8:30-5 MT. But basically just a get your job done thing so far, only been a little over a month, hope it stays that way. I don't mind getting a few late calls in my time zone, but I'm working towards having them scheduled in advanced.

Is your baby still gonna be going to daycare while you work from home?

I get yelled at if I take a 15 minute lunch. My boss said the state requires you to take a full lunch. Why?

Flexible where I'm at. Typically do 7-4 M-TH and 7-11:30 Friday. 4-10s during the summer.
