The 40 people who stayed in Grand Isle

The only way to get to them is by helicopter and that won’t be until tomorrow afternoon.

That island will never be the same. It was a good run, but I’m afraid it’s gonna be a long time to recover from this

In the event that anybody who stayed in Grand Isle actually survives (not likely), the PTSD that they will have will far outweigh any benefits of manning up and sticking around.

Not to mention most people were just recovering from Zeta last year and just got their camps back up and running.

will pale in comparison to the PTSD that a good portion of the posters on this board will experience when power goes down and they can't access TD

Right up until they need to be rescued, or die.

Chief of police called into weather channel saying 15 residents are hunkered down inside police bunker so that should cut the deaths in half.

I understand that they are in a bunker, but what’s the point of staying? Seems like an unnecessary risk. Also how can the govt make us wear masks in a grocery store but they can’t force people out of the path of a cat 4 hurricane?

It might capsize. It’s been worried about before.

I remember seeing this on a link someone posted and I could not believe this guy actually had that concern, and he was dead serious.

The military spokesman who addressed his concerns must have been biting his lower lip to keep from laughing out loud in this ignorant bastards face.

Interesting read if only for the use of the English language... most readers today would be confused.
