We are experiencing high contact volumes and long wait times. If you are a YouTube TV subscriber who needs help redeeming your $20 credit, please click here to redeem your credit. If you are billed through Google Play or a partner, you will automatically receive this credit on your next bill.

You’ve successfully claimed your $20.00 credit. This will be applied towards your next bill.

I'm billed through Google Play but it definitely didn't seem automatic to me. I went out and claimed it this morning. It was easy enough, only silly part is having to use a web browser and not allowing you to just do it through the app.
Still, like a 1/10 difficulty.

I bitched to customer service yesterday and they gave me one week of free YouTube tv and moved my billing date, effectively giving me a $20 discount. And then told me that I’d still get this $20 credit, which I just redeemed.
3 months ago I received another $15 or $20 credit per month for 3 months.
ETA: looks like it was $25 for 2 months

I went to Settings>Updates this morning and claimed my credit

I got an email announcing the credit but didn't actually get the email with the instructions on how to claim it.
At this point I'm just going to give up my YTTV and listen to my wife talk. Somehow it's less painful than watching the Gators.

Just go into settings-updates and you should see it.
From a web browser, not the app.

The $20 credit is a nice gesture but I cancelled my service altogether on Saturday.
I subscribe to live TV 4-5 months out of the year specifically for football season. I have YouTubeTV and my friend has the ESPN service and we both had to sign up for a free trial of Fubo to watch the LSU game.
Two weeks ago ESPN moved a broadcast (can't remember which game) to a different channel once another game kicked off and I needed TWO SEPARATE SERVICES/APPS to watch the first and second half of THE SAME GAME.
This streaming shite is so out-of-control and combined with the NIL and transfer nonsense, college football is rapidly dropping down my list of interests.

Get a grip!
Someday you'll have to deal with something that is an actual problem.

I deal with actual problems every day. Which is why I don't feel like dealing with it with my free time.

My comment went way over your head.
