This board obsession with this institution is always been pretty amusing.
Did you ever think maybe you're just in the minority?

Did you still get the runs?

Nah.
I'm even Vette-less at the moment.
Plus, I'm just about totally out of Hai-Karate.

I actually wasn't being hyperbolic. I have eaten at several Michelin Star restaurants that have significant variances in quality over time. Now I am not talking about French Laundry, Osteria Francescana or Cosme level eateries but even in that rarefied air, I have seen Le Bernardin waver.
Waffle House is almost ridiculously consistent with their actual food.

to echo the other responses, WH might be the most consistently good business of all time.

How are you supposed to go to Twin Peaks without your Vette?

Right?
Plus, I have to ration the Hai-Karate to save some for the Cadillac Cafe.

Don't you dare bring your negative arse insults onto this forum and slander the name of the South's greatest culinary pinnacle.
It's not a waffle house..... it's a waffle home.

Sorry your local Waffle House sucks. The Huddle House in my home town on the other hand is great. And now that they’ve done away with the smoking section I can actually go in there again.

I've been looking.
Porsche looking good, but no Turbo/Turbo S for a few more months. (2020) Good bit of 2019's though.
Same deal with 2020 Vette. Can order now @ MSRP for early spring delivery. Even then, the hotter ones will be 3-6 months after that.

There are still restaurants with smoking sections in the US?

I always get lost on the 911 hierarchy
I have a feeling the new vettes are gonna have a shitload of problems.
Did they design a new chassis for that or did they pick it up from someone else?

The Huddle Hose did away with theirs a few years ago. However, a little over a month ago we went to a small town in north Alabama called Blountsville to eat at a place called Double B BBQ. We’d heard they had really good BBQ so we decided to try it out. However, when we got there we discovered the section where you walk in is a smoking section. There was literally a guy eating a BBQ plate while smoking a cigarette right next to the front door. To get to the non-smoking section, you had to walk through the smoking section to a side room. Needless to say we left.
They did have a nice salad bar from what I saw. Of course it was in the smoking section.

Damn near a new from the ground-up car:
2020 Corvette being born
You're right about the 911's, it takes awhile to sort then out.
Not sure if they'll have a ton of problems, but yeah, a new car on a whole new architecture?
There's gonna be some teething pain.
ETA: Sorry, OP. Thread wasn't going your way anyway.
