Which one y'all like better?
Coke in a smaller rotation, the blue/green in a larger rotation since it gives a nice distinct look but maybe too distinct and hard to pair if it is to be worn often.

glidelock is definitely one of the best quick adjust systems out there.
One of the secrets in plain sight is the Glidelock on the DSSD is different from the Sub and SD. Yes, it has a foldable dive suit extension but also a system to adjust in ten 2mm increments like the Sub but you can do with without taking it off your wrist. The mechanism is also hidden unlike a lot of other similar systems. You pull up at the locking end of the middle section of the clasp. It is brilliant.
I got my DSSD when they were first released and I was initially flummoxed by the Glidelock because I hadn't seen anything in the press about it. You rarely see anyone talk about it because I assume few people ever bother to inspect one just because it doesn't interest them due to the size,

The one that started it all for me, "L" serial number 16610 early run for this venerable reference with holes case, T - Swiss < 25 dial and Tritium lume for hands and markers, now very nicely patinated...1989 when I found out I was accepted to medical school. Took 1800 USD of hard won funds from manual labor jobs throughout my teen years and treated myself. I was a 19 year old kid and was told by more than one person I had no reason buying or owning a Rolex but I had been wanting a watch like that for years. I remember grinding for months whether it would be a Sub, an Explorer II or GMT - back when info was not particularly easy to come by. I even got a 10% discount for paying in cash.
I find myself thinking on the daily of popping in to the AD here and telling them I want a 126610LV, as much as anything for the glidelock (silly, I know but also like the splash of color). It is awfully tempting given that the AD here is only two minutes from my house. Only thing stopping me is I am waiting on something special coming from them hopefully in the next month or so and want to savor that when it goes down.
Cheers and I wish every one a quiet, reflective and safe Good Friday on this solemn and holy day.

Gorgeous watch.
Normally when one of my Ploprofs comes up in rotation during the week I switch with that weeks Saturday watch but Good Friday is an elective holiday at work and since ~40% of the office is out today I decided it would be a casual Friday for me that I almost never get to indulge in so wearing one on shark mesh that I was "supposed" to wear on Tuesday.
BTW Ed Sheeran is on the cover of Time wearing a Patek 5004a which is a stainless steel case split second perpetual calender. A grande complication in a SS case makes it a true grail for any Patek collector.

A bit of an unusual configuration, a 5167 on bracelet. It is one of my wife's favorites to wear from my boxes and changing from bracelet to strap is a royal PITA and the strap is a cut to fit so it stays on the bracelet.

Bringing it as always.
Since this was originally an LSU board and since this is a watch thread, I'll mention Will Campbell's watch choice from last night. Congrats to him as #4 pick and I believe the first SEC player off the board (I didn't watch hardly any of it this year). Looked to me like a 126613LB "Bluesy". Didn't see what others were wearing, so I would wager a likely understated choice given the cohort he is measured against.
Here's what I have on today: 126719BLNR

It was indeed a Bluesy and the watch Tyler Warren (Penn St TE that went #14) wore was a RG Rootbeer. They don't get to keep them, they will be given away by Kettle the UK authenticator. They have their names Draft Day 2025 and their signature engraved on the back. They get to wear them for a couple of weeks, then Kettle is giving them away. As a side note kettle is a nickname for a Rolex in the UK. You can hear this in the Guy Ritchie movie The Gentlemen when the kids are harassing one of Matthew McConaughey's thugs standing beside the Merc G right before the Russian kid gets thrown out the window. They remark on the thugs Sub and call it a kettle. It used to be Cockney slang for any watch but recently it is reserved more for Rolex. I like kettle better than Roller or Rollie, but those make me want to slap the taste out of someone's mouth.
That is the only ones I noticed this year, the big thing this year was the suit jackets with the schools and family names inside, that's why you saw them all opening them up. Last year Nabors had a Royal Oak, Daniels had a buss down Cartier Santos and Caleb Williams had on a Patek Calatrava.

Didn't see what others were wearing
Except Adul Carter, who was blinged out. AP RO I think.
I’m sure Wristcheck or a similar site already has the full summary.
ETA some IDs I found from last night:
Ward - SS Datejust
Hunter - RG Day-Date
Carter - fully blung Sky Dweller, not a Royal Oak like I thought
Cambell - Bluesy
Graham - SS Royal Oak
Jeanty - SS datejust
Stainless Rolexes leading the way, a lot less flashy then I would have expected from top NFL draftees.

I really like that dial!
Borealis is a micro-brand from Portugal. All their watches are named after places in Portugal. Cacais is a little town on the coast just west of Estoril and farther west of Lisbon. The dial is supposed to be reminiscent of the cobblestone streets in Cacais which have really cool fine designs much nicer than the best in NOLA like what you find in Armstrong park.

I have been wearing a g shock WR20BAR. If I wear it for 3 months straight I am going to pick up either a Seiko dive watch or a citizen echo drive. If I wear that for a couple of years straight I may look into higher end watches. I would love a Breitling or something like that, but that's way down the road.
