I've lived in Louisiana all my life and have always sai LA was better than Texas. Well now the scales have dipped in Texas' favor. I just had my first experience at Buc-Ee's. The only thing I kept thinking is "why the frick have I never been to this place?" Oh yeah, that's right cause we're living in the Stone Age in LA while our neighbors have the Taj Mahal of gas stations all over the place.
Fwiw, their kolachie's are maybe the best I've ever eaten.

Buc-ee's has the worst kolaches ever. I'd rather a Shipley's kolache before Buc-ee's. It's about the only thing they don't do well.

I think Buccees should expand their business to Louisiana. They would make a killing along I-10. We drive to BR and NO quite a bit and stopping at La. stations is always a disappointment if not downright disgusting experience.

Buc-eee's is cool with the 100 pumps and immaculate bathrooms and all the stuff but after your second trip there you'll realize just how overpriced everything is.
