Apparently it will supersede all local government restrictions.

Good. I'm bracing for Jefferson County and Birmingham to extend their shut down even if Ivey lift's the state wide orders this Friday. She speaks 11am tomorrow.

They should re release older movies.

How many people are going to want to risk getting CV so they can pay theater prices to see old movies instead of just buying them for less money to watch at home?

unless of course you see restaurants opening at 50% capacity as some sort of "win"

50% is higher than 0% if you didn't know.

right? Nothing screams "reopening like normal" more than opening only select businesses and at only 25% of their capacity.

He said the shelter in place expires May 1, so if that was part of it, then...

He said all parks and sports are good to go as long as not more than 4 people interacting.

It's a good thing the metric isn't based on case rate then. It's built on hospitalization and death rate. The case rate will very likely increase once more Asypmtomatic people are tested.

Abbott said Texas is opening state run parks and museums as soon as this Friday, based upon being ready to go.

State parks are open, bruh. They only closed for Easter weekend.

Edit: oh camping. Yeah they're day pass only.

Who the hell is going to stop you?

I spent two nights at Bankhead a week and a half ago. You can't close the woods.

I really hope so. Maybe then they will stop panicking when I play a singles match using my own tennis balls. These people are out of their minds.

Think the high demand/smart restaurants will be 100 percent by reservation and implement cancellation fees to ensure they maximize their ability to make money

Despite Texas Gov. Greg Abbott permitting movie theaters to re-open on May 1 in his state numbering nearly 30 million, big movies chains like AMC and Cinemark, which is located in Plano, TX, are still eyeing mid-summer re-opening, not only out of safety, but also due to the lack of new, fresh studio content.
