I dunno. I’m no lawyer but I’m not understanding how you get first degree murder and the death penalty out of this.

this is exactly why you should never tell your gf's mom you'll kill her. if she ends up dead, you look guilty af.

I'm all for the death penalty but I dont think in this case he should have been put to death for this crime. To much circumstantial evidence to me.

I’m sure you’ve spent a lot of time pouring over case files and not just reading this one slightly biased article.

If Texas wasn't such an ugly state and didn't have shitty weather, I'd move there.

Don’t move to west Texas. Problem solved.

Other than it being hot, what’s shitty about it?

Y’all realize Texas is massive right? Climate and geography are different all over the state.

It is in the humid subtropical zone. I am all too familiar.

ETA:

I would probably still consider Dallas. Great location. Could be on east coast in a few hours. Close to the mountains and southern California.

Throwing a body out of a car would be considered littering.

It would be nice if they'd put in a self checkout as well.

On death row? Here's a rope, some razor blades and a gun... I'll check back in a couple of hours and see how you are doing.

Because when people say that they're in favor of the death penalty what they really mean is that they care more about revenge than justice.

That’s the truth. A recent case involved a college kid killed his own mother and brother, and tried to kill his own father, and was sentenced to death. His father was the only live victim and had to beg and fight for the state to not carry out the execution. Texas don’t play.

The state never definitively determined the cause of death. They say it might have beeen strangulation or it could have been blunt force trauma. He says she jumped out, and he flagged down the cops immediately.

Well...Can you blame her for wanting to jump out of a car where homeboy was choking her?

Either way, be it strangulation or BFT, he directly facilitated her death.

However, I will say that's not the rap sheet I was expecting to see.

Hot ‘n wet or hot ‘n dusty.

Louisiana is just hot, wet and flat.
