State of Texas has ~ 1.7 million tourist each year. There is one city in LA that has ~ 9 million. People love them some LA culture.

That just tells me LA is a place to visit. They definitely love to go take in the culture... But then they go back home.

most foreigners here speak English as well. I see them switch between languages perfectly everyday.

again, culture is the argument of a state/city that has nothing else of value to offer

people move to a state for jobs, education, low crime rates, clean and paved streets, etc.

they visit a place for culture. they don't move to a place dead last in education with crime out the arse just for culture.

culture is all you have, and that's great. pimp your tourism numbers all you want, but don't act like that is a better value than having some of the top job markets in the country with one of the best public school systems in the country.

I moved to TX because of a natural disaster.

What part of the great state do you reside in TH?

It's a big fricking strip mall. Jobs, education...people too dumb to move to a real coast for a job and education only works on dumb kids, smart kids learn on their own. It's stats, Americans love stats. Life cannot be determined or weighed on stats. They're meaningless numbers for people who don't have any real passion to convince themselves they've made the right choices.

True, but TX was the closest state with adequate beer distribution. Plus Houston is a great food town.

TH, I'm gonna assume you have kids.

I bet 80% of the people in this thread, if they drove around each of our communities, would pick where I live over your Dallas burb. Life's too short to live in Texas.

How many one liners can I come up with in this thread? Trolling is fun.
