I am just pointing out that structural glue is not crap. Just like welding, bolting, and riveting, it can fail if improperly engineered or applied. In many cases, adhesive is superior in multiple ways to bolts/rivets/welding.
While I am not going to bother defending or prosecuting the Tesla truck bumper, if you set out with the intention of destroying something and create extreme loads that would never be encountered in normal usage, you will succeed with any product. Extreme loads at unusual vectors do not equal accelerated normal usage testing.

I was the one that metnioned that.
Part of the issue I think is that a single site could have 2 larger (30amp/50amp) draws simultaneously that the individual power pedestals aren't designed for.... multiply that across multiple sites, and the whole system may be stressed. Newer or updated CGs may account for this but older ones may not.
I haven't seen it yet but it has been discussed....

Probably not the way I put it but I have had EV owners tell me that there are charging station that they would not stop at due to environmental factors. There are gas stations that I would not stop at but there are more choices for that.

I expect most campers are like me and utilize the 110 / 12 Amp max charge.

Ive owned a Tesla since 2019. Only complaint is burning through tires. They are incredible cars. Excellent commuter vehicles

$875 gas
It's all personal preference. Sure it'll save a lot of gas money compared to a 15-20mpg truck. Compared to a hybrid SuV, it's hardly worth mentioning. Besides a yearly 10k mi oil change, not much servicing is required either on a Honda/Toyota.

Maybe another negative is the lack of a spare tire. While it may never effect me, I like to know if I get a flat I can change it and be on my way in 30 minutes rather than at the mercy of a tow truck
