Nobody really knows for sure yet, because we just don't have enough data on long-term use. But the data we do have on Tesla packs looks promising. Some of them have over 150k miles and still have about 90% capacity. A pack is considered "dead" when it can only hold 70% charge, though some might replace theirs long before then. The current generation of packs out there now are expected to last probably 300-500k miles, but with the rapid tech improvements Tesla expects to produce million mile packs in the coming years.

"Dead" packs can be repurposed as home energy storage, which would be extremely handy during power outages, and it also gives you the option to charge it during non-peak hours and use that power during peak hours to save a few bucks. And lithium battery recycling tech is still developing into an economical industry, but once this first big flood of old packs hits the market I would imagine that tech would advance quickly and bring down prices across the board.
