I think most intelligent people understand that the people that are terrorizing the world are radical sectors of a religion. It's the ideology that needs to be destroyed. The only way it can be destroyed is by force/warfare. What else are you going to do? Talk it out? Give them their own country and hope no one escapes?

No one wants war. Everyone wants to live in peace, except radical Islamics. They're going to continue to push peaceful religions around the world until someone finally has enough and a very large conflict erupts.

I like all the brilliant Israel-sympathizers. Who likely aren't even in the least shred Jewish, but just blindly rally behind the cause because of Fox News and the power of the AIPAC lobby (a Jewish lobby controlling the News Media, WHAT?!).

Those who seriously believe in Israel's importance as a key ally, please present a coherent (keyword) argument, and how our alliance with Israel is anything but lopsidedly beneficial to them, and more of a detriment to us.

Sure they offer a "presence" in the Middle East, but their "presence" there and very existence is equivalent of a "perma-deployment", that just perpetually pisses off the inhabitants of the region. Our military and intelligence apparatuses are powerful enough to stand alone, and do not require Israel's assistance. Whereas Israel while sporting a formidable military would absolutely be left to the dogs if we rescinded our unwavering support, (of course I suppose there's an argument here, but if you ask me a lot of the cunts have it coming it to them with some of their settlement policies, if you ask me, I'd say that those that realize that could get the frick out dodge and return to making money on Wall Street or Hollywood, and those dumb enough to stay well, shalom).

Seriously, America's alliance with Israel, is arguably the only thing that pisses off the Mid-east as much as our actual military activity there. So essentially our support of Israel makes us more of a target than less of one. The best way to describe Israel, is like a roided up rabid pitbull whose owner (US) let it off the leash in the dog park (Mideast) and is attacking the shite out of the other dogs in the park (Arab countries), and even taking healthy gnaws at its master's ankles. The best example is the US continuing to support Israel when they've been proven historically, to do things such as sink our own ships to scapegoat the Palestinians. Lastly to the posters, mentioning ISIS's flirtation with the doomsday scenario, please not that Israel has been bolstering biblical tourism vested in the same idea, to the US's ignorant and conservative evangelists, Essentially the importance of Armageddon and the rapture inevitably playing out in Israel, is a key selling point used to secure donations, and political support from this demographic; you know the assurance to these people (or rather their $$$) are going to the right side of this righteous, and holy conflict, securing them a spot at the pearly-gates. So do we really want to stand by a country that is also selling the same morbid doomsday scenario as IS, to its newfound supporters...
