cajunangelle is someone who looks for dramatic, unsubstantiated news and post it in big bold caps like ihometiger.

It's the easiest way to inflict mass casualties.

Not in America. They're usually white, but you are correct that because this was in Britain it probably was a Muslim(s) responsible.

I was talking world wide but in the past 5 years I think that holds true for America also.

The whole using vehicles to just mow people down worries me more than terrorist with bombs or guns. It's just so damn easy and can happen in a instant.

We thought about it a lot when in Europe over the holidays. Blocking off the Christmas Markets and the like is easy enough, but there is just no way to barricade off most of the heavy pedestrian areas in major European cities. Even smaller cities provide ample possible targets if you're just looking for carnage.

Colorado theater shooting

Church basement in Carolina
Even the local one in Lafayette where he only managed to kill 2 people(thank the lord) was committed by a white guy.

So if you think about it I'd say white guys edge out Muslims by a hair, but you wouldn't know it based on TV and our politicians.

Would be interesting to get numbers but I doubt crimes are classified sufficiently to be accurate for what I would like to know

Not terrorism, any ideological motive is a HUGE stretch

Not even close to terrorism, no ideological basis at all

Church basement in Carolina

This is actually terrorism, it was white supremacist based

I know of this one but don't remember the back story.

If you want to talk about mass violence, you're probably right. But most of these incidents aren't terrorism.

Maybe I missed part of the conversation but notable terrorist attacks commited by whites doesn't even hold a candle to Muslim led attacks.

Boston bombing
Orlando
California
Ft Hood
Tennessee
That mall

Everything you listed is technically terrorism but can also fall under spree killings because the acts weren't committed over an ideology. Now some wing nut blowing up an abortion clinic is terrorism in my book.

I think Muslims are ahead in body count on American soil.

I think it was over a woman or something. It wasn't ideological.

Link not working

Look, we all pretty much know when these things happen it's a radical Muslim. Most liberals I know agree with that. That's not the argument for borders. Their argument is mostly that

A- it wasn't like Obama was just letting them come in droves. The screening of select countries has been occurring for a long time and is rigorous. It takes months to years for the most part for people from middle eastern countries to get here, and usually the entire family can not come.

B- the liberal argument is that not every immigrant and Muslim is a terrorist. Which is true. And we screen the shite out of them. Which is why most domestic attacks by Muslims have been from US citizens who were basically proxy radicalized.

Just saying. I don't know many liberals, myself included I guess, who want to just let everyone in without screening. That's a bit hyperbolic from some of y'all.

You're right. I am more concerned with mass violence rather than the motivation behind the mass violence.

The classification of the act after the fact doesn't concern me if I am a victim.
