The involuntary shield and the one further back were killed. You can see the guy in the back get shot in the head.

The one straight pulled the shield down and held him there. Most selfish, self-preserving act I have ever seen. It is like he was planning it.

I don't know how many are "innocent." The fact is that this shite goes on because people won't serve as witnesses, they don't report drug dealers in the neighborhood, they harbor fugitives, and they treat the cops and courts as if they were the enemy. If they're not willing to be part of the solution, they're part of the problem.

Bringing in the national guard might stop the crime in that location, temporarily, but it really will be like turning the lights on and seeing the roaches scatter: didn't reduce the number of roaches, just made them move to another place. That same crime will show up on the NW side of town.

Plus, until the people in that area all decide to be part of the solution, you'd have to keep the NG there full-time, creating another situation like public housing, where the government has made a bunch of "pets," for lack of a better word, that can't or won't do for themselves.

I'm saying that everyone is acting like this dude sacrificed his friend, but how do we know they're friends, instead of just 4 guys in a gas station? they're not wearing matching friendship bracelets.
