No...they didn't pose as youth pastors...they WERE youth pastors. Unless your argument is going to be of the new true Scotsman variety, they weren't pretending to be youth pastors any more so than Catholic Priest were pretending to be priests.
You're allowing your bias against religion cloud your judgment here.
Would you say that a pedo who dresses up or claims to be a transsexual to gain access to a girl's locker room or bathroom is in fact a real transsexual? No, of course not. Same thing here with these youth pastors. The same would be true if they were Scout leaders, camp counselors, youth sports coaches, teachers, or whatever. These sickos will pose as whatever gives them access to kids. They've done this for years. It's one of their main M.O.'s.

Kennedy was charged with patronizing prostituition and a trafficking charge that as a Class B Felony could amount to 30 years in prison. But authorities said it may be enhanced to Class A felony, which could mean 15-60 years in prison and a fine up to $50,000, because the operation took place 1,000 feet from a church.

Isn't that ironic.

If your point is that "human" is redundant, I'm sure human is used to distinguish between drug trafficking.
no my point is that there was no trafficking because the alleged victim never existed

Gotcha. I haven't read the thread all the way through, just the OP and a few expected responses.

Yeah there aren’t any terrible things done outside of religion. Take the constant narrative about war and death and religion. Most people quickly point to the crusades and inquisition in regards to Christianity, for instance, as proof of how terrible religion (specifically Christianity) really is. Between 1 to 4 million people were senselessly killed by Christians.
But in the 20th century, a time when the prevailing thought (and it continues today) is that religion is dying and should be expelled from the marketplace (and with great and influential thinkers like Russell and Freud for instance), there was the Holocaust and two World Wars (among other things) that killed more than 100 million people. Mao killed around 60 million, Stalin around 40 million, and Hitler around 30 million. None of that in the name of religion. As a matter of fact, those three combined probably killed more than all religious wars and deaths combined. Also, the Encyclopedia of Wars by authors Charles Phillips and Alan Axelrod who documented the history of recorded warfare, their list of 1,763 wars only 123 have been classified to involve a religious cause, accounting for less than 7 percent of all wars and less than 2 percent of all people killed in warfare.
Now I am not saying religion or Christianity is great or being irreligious or an atheist is bad, I just fins the narrative that religion is a poison or whatever as ludicrous. Evils take place in all kinds of forms and places. Evils have happen and have happened under the guise of many worldviews. So I think that whole narrative is ridiculous. Just my opinion though. Feel free to call me names lol.
