I know it was 3AM an all, but the way Pruitt handled this was just awful. The policeman couldn't have handled it any better. He is telling Pruitt he isn't going to give the kid a ticket for having a suspended license, but had to arrest him because there was a warrant out for his arrest (for not going to court for a minor traffic violation).
Pruitt asked the policeman "do you have to arrest him for that?". Yes you dumb mother fricker. It doesn't matter who you are, if you get stopped and have a warrant you are getting arrested.

Maybe so. Some of the shite he said to those cops surprised the hell out of me.
I'm paraphrasing but he said something like "I bet you can't wait to go home and see your kids. Some cops don't get to go home to see their kids"
