My mom works at the endoscopy center on Jefferson. Last week she went from being safe, to not knowing, to having her hours cut to 25/week, to being laid off within 3 days.

Nope, only a “we hope to bring you back in 60 days but can’t guarantee it”. It sucks because she’s just two years away from retirement. Who’s gonna hire someone guaranteed to leave in two years? Hopefully they take her back when this settles down.

Friend of mine is a CRNA at an endoscopy center here and she is currently not working. Was told to use up any vacation time she has if she wants to collect a paycheck. That was last week...not sure if she is still employed.

Me too! Dr. Rao (fantastic doctor) did mine and the running joke in my family is that I got deep throated by the Indian doctor.
