Was in show choir in high school. Was at the national level and very well known program. Sounds gay, but danced with the girls, go to travel out of state, and had a good amount of fun.

I just turned 40 (happy belated birthday to me) and I've just begun learning how to play the guitar.

Happy belated birthday. How’s the guitar treating you? What type did you get? If you haven’t already, I highly recommend taking it to a decent luthier/guitar tech to have a the intonation set and action adjusted. It makes all the difference in the world.

When was your bday? Mine is Friday.
My parents gifted me an absolutely beautiful 68 ovation balladeer for Christmas last year because my dad plays and I’ve been saying for a long time that I want to learn, but I’m not very good at it and I don’t practice enough.

I left home when I was 15 in the 70s . Worked on a shrimp boat in Key West pirating . Made more money than most of my friends parents in the 80s . Decided to get my GED and a bachelors degree in the 90s . Now I’m laid back in the hill country.

I turned down an offer to play D1 baseball because i didnt want to get up the next morning (and every morning after that) drive an hour and run 10 miles every single day of the summer... worst decision of my life

I once dated a devout Catholic girl (smoking hot redhead with big hooters) for 3 years without getting laid ... she married some fatty who knocked her up immediately

My dad knew Barry Seal quite well... nothing more to add

I like to tinker with R/C boats, planes, cars and model trains

I won a skeet shooting competition against avid duck hunters with a $120 shotgun

I eat arse

Haha I hear ya. It’s much more enjoyable and easier to play when it’s set up well.

Ovation makes really nice stuff for a good price.

Uh, I just joined this board a few days ago so I don't think I have a board persona yet. But for the record, I'm really not all that fond of pancakes.

I can teach you.

I'm a pretty charitable guy. Often when I get in a rut, the only thing that makes me happy is to do something unexpected and thoughtful for a friend or acquaintance.

I'm astoundingly charismatic if the situation calls for it.

I can also still do a front/back flip into a pool without splatting like a bug on a windshield.
